After taking a Post Graduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism at Cardiff University I joined the Press Association (PA) in 1998 as a graduate trainee and have been a working journalist ever since. I was a Parliamentary Reporter in the House of Commons for PA; health correspondent for PA, and joined the Daily Express as Consumer Editor in 2002. I worked as a staff news reporter for Express Newspapers for sixteen years and have a wealth of experience in writing, interviewing and telling stories. I continue to work as a freelance writer and I am proud of my versatility. My work has appeared in a range of publications from tabloid newspapers to literary websites. Publications include The Creative Independent, The Guardian, The Evening Standard, The Independent, The Daily Mirror, Daily and Sunday Express, and Good Housekeeping.
